Just got Bad Company 2 - Updater isn't moving?

The update looks like it's stuck, or it's going really really slow. Did anybody else encounter this with the BC2 update?

Update is almost 1gb, it will just be crawling along. I'm only getting about 100kbps too

goto steam window - library>downloads that will tell you the progess

I bought it on CD, so it's not on steam. I'm using the BC2 updater.
