Quick right of way question

That's for single track roads though.
Clearly the roads you're talking about is wide enough for more than one car if there's a row of parked cars on one side of it :p

Those without the cars parked on their side of the road will have priority.

It's priority going UP hill - maybe it's just me that thought it existed. :p

Agreed about your side being blocked being more important though.
I'm sure it was in the Highway Code when I passed my test.

Anyway Frenchie, shouldn't you be giving way to everyone ? Surely your white flag waving tendencies kick in uncontrollably when you see someone coming towards you in your path? :p

Dunno, I guess when the Highway Code was written there wasn't the problem of traffic parked randomly along both sides of hills, blocking up the road, like there is today. Plus coupled with London's 'unique' breed of courtesy, as mentioned, the rules become a bit vague.

Oi, watch the frenchy comment...

I know where you live! :p

What would you do in France?
Here in Belgium people come at you when cars are parked on their side of the road; its ridiculous.
Even when there's a space to pull in, they keep on coming. ****s.

Oh it very much depends in what mood the person is! :D

In Paris, well it's dog-eat-dog.

In the Med, you'd shout at each other, and end up having a beer later that evening, but still not have moved from where you blocked one another in! :D
