My Car doesn't have Air Con - is there anything I can do to stop melting?

Consider the 2001 onwards Mini Cooper with chilli pack, this will have air con

Park in the shade, and open the windows when driving. And/Or drive naked like James May did in that Aston Martin on Top Gear.

Have both windows open at least a bit as it creates some airflow through the car, that plus the vents keeps me at an acceptable temprature in the mini

Well there is only one place that I know of that fits air con into the older Mini's. This is thee only place I can find which will do it...and now I can't find the link!

There's a few JDM Minis with aircon installed so it is possible.

Yeah I do that already but when on the motorway it is a dodgey to drive with the windows down.

Wire the inverter straight to the battery (Y)

Are you getting heat from the bulkhead? I'd imagine you'd have that sort of issue with such a small car.

I think red with the flag is the best on those cars, if i wasnt 6'4 18 stone i would have one of those little things put away for prosperity.

Or cut the roof off with an angle grinder.
