was looking at some cheap laptops for web browsing and found a couple that were similar in spec and price, the thing is one is claiming to have a Intel Celeron 2.2GHz dual core Intel Celeron 900, but intel only show the 900 as a single core cpu, so are they mis-advertising their products or am i missing it on intels site?
thanks in advance.

top paragraph from this link,

http://www.intel.com/products/processor/celeron/index.htm

Take basic computing to new levels with dual-core processing. The Intel® Celeron® processor, with 512 KB of shared L2 cache and 800 MHz Front Side Bus, has two independent processor cores in one physical package running at the same frequency, delivering superior energy efficient dual-core performance.
The Intel® Celeron® processor is also an exceptional value for single-core desktop computing delivering a balanced level of proven technology.

but this link shows just one core/thread,

http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=41498

sounds like they just read the top link, and added it to the marketing rubbish for the laptop
