I'm tired of just getting home from work and having the same old routine. Eat, watch tv and sleep, rinse and repeat.

What do you all spend your average evening doing?

Assuming people don't come around or something, at the moment it's pretty simple:

Change in to comfy clothes from work, eat, relax for a few, write for a couple of hours, another bit of relax, work out for 30 - 60 mins, and then watch a bit of TV to sleep.

I've been really trying to focus on getting stronger and getting my book sorted... so I've been in a tunnel with my time at the moment it seems.

This is not "writing a book" like brian griffin is doing:D

95% of the time, hang out with friends. Infact, I've been doing it so much, I barely have time for OCUK!

I need to sort out my priorities.

It's pretty far along, in fact the first revision is finished, I'm doing revisions and hopefully I'll have it done a few months before xmas. I've sent a few early previews out to members on OCUK forums, including Secret Spy, and Semipro waster. :)

What genre is it, and how did you get in to that?

I'd love to have the time, skills and imagination to write something fictional.

LOL, someone just asked me that on facebook. It's fantasy / horror / adveture.

I'm not a professional, but I've *always* wanted to create something even when I was really young... so about a year ago an idea popped into my head... I played around with it for a bit and then started to flesh it out, and then started to write it down.

So far, it's about 65 percent done, the first draft is complete, but the book has several missing areas, such as plot holes as I've changed sections... so the this first draft is making the sweeping changes, once it's done I'll be sending out drafts for proper feedback. :)

At the moment: Football, badminton, other exercise, photography, chatting to people online, watching tv, housekeeping, watering the garden, shopping.

I wish there were more hours in the day; I have so many books queued up to be read and pc games to play. :(

Depends what shift I have at work, but normaly come home, watch some TV while I cook and eat, shower, play some games/read some books and hit the hay early. Days off I go to the gym, clean, shop etc....

Jcb33.

Typically, get home from work, have a shower and change, sit round the table having dinner with the missus and kids, make a cup of coffee grab some form of chocolate and retire to my gaming room, put my feet up for half an hour and read news/facebook. Then depending on the day a few hours of gaming or taking my eldest to Muay Thai/spending time with the youngest two. Last couple of hours before bed are normally spent in the lounge monging out watching tv/playing games on my ipod. Evenings will be a bit different soon as I'm going back on a healthier one, so will prob be down the gym/muay thai a couple of times a week.

i get home at 7am from work, sleep until 3, have tea, hopefully get a bit from the mrs ( now ex ) relax for a bit then go to work at 7pm

Get ear ache from the GF..
and as of this weekend when she decided what I meant by "needing a little space" was to go on holiday with her ex for a week.
Wondering what to do with my now spare time that I am fed of of spending in front of the PC....

Out with friends, game on the PC, watch a movie, if i feel down or not so happy, I'll go on a nice long drive or a long walk with the dogs.
