Well i love this new card even at stock it's perfect for what i need but it also overclocks very well only had 4 hours to tinker so need to refine the setting more but it's looking very promising for 1Ghz core.

The card itself idles at 36 and never go's over 71 even after 10 minutes of furmark, and the fan is so quiet i can't even hear it at idle and it only ever goes to 45% when at 70 degrees even then it's practically inaudible at 1 foot away.

Only done 4 benchies but also played some games on the 950/1225 overclock and they all seem to play fione so far i will update this thread as and when i tweak the overclock and i'll also add some pictures later.

Top people asus there packaging is next to none and it's much more of a pleasure to open than a sapphire card

Any questions or requests for more benchies then feel free to ask

£265 well spent (DEFINATELY) :D

Nice one bigjimmy. I am encouraged to hear about it being quiet. I take it it's still a quiet card when overclocked?

Pleased for you, and you have some cash left over. Enjoy. :)

yeah even sitting at 950/1225 stressing it with eunigine 2.1 or msi kombuster it's still practically inaudible, fan never hits above 45% and GPU never goes above 71 degrees, now i just need to find some rough guides for core voltage before i try to clock any further into the 1 ghz range altho stock clocks r just about fine i wouldn't mind see how far it will go. not decided yet don't wanna mess it up, i definately think a pair of these in x fire would be gr8

It's a very good card and quiet as well. I could only get the one I have now to 950/1200 but it still outperforms my stock 5870.
