Is that Mount & Blade any good? Worth the £8.50? (Even though a boxed version can be had for £4.99).

The concept sounds interesting and worth a look but the graphics look a bit dated/rubbish and from the pictures/videos, the game world looks pretty empty with not much going on.

its great ! but i got it for 3 on another deal... if you get it, search for some mods like the texture packs one

So whats the object of the game? Is it an RPG similar to the Elder Scrolls games or is it completely different? I know theres no magic/fantasy elements involved, but that makes it sound pretty bland. The thing that has me interested is the sandbox gameplay and the big battles. Is there loot and such? Better weapons/armour and so on.
 
aaargh - stupid game

Bought Borderlands - had a quick play earlier - but now kids have gone to bed I thought I'd have a proper go - problem is I bought 2 DLCs earlier, which had partly downloaded

won't let me play now till the DLCs are completely downloaded

Then you have missed the point. It isn't meant to be realistic!!! It is meant to play like a B-movie action film. Best fun I have had in a game to date.
 
Anyone into rpg or strategy simply must pick up the Freedom Force pack. £1.24 is bananas.

Man-Bot is one of the best characters to grace gaming.

Hi Folks,
Had a skim through, but at 58 pages I might have missed if this has already been answered yes, it's bound to be on the previouse page and I've missed it).
So are these new set of daily offers the last one, or are there another set tommorrow? It says untill the 5th July, but is that ending 4th July, or does it mean last new set on 4th July?

According to the steam forums these both run fine under Win7 64bit. Think I will make another purchase. Already bought Borderlands and Empire at War today. No idea when I'm going to play all of these...

@seabiscuit - yeah want this for Metro 2033 and DOW: Chaos Rising, but I already have over 50% of the games in the THQ pack. Thinking of setting up a new account for my son and then buying it on that so at least I get 2 copies of the games I already own for some multiplayer. Will need to wait a few years to play against him though - he's only 5 :D
 
In the steam sales so far i bought both serious sam hd games gta episodes, bc2 ( i had it on ps3 but they made the pc version better apperantly) Metro, just cause 2 and devil may cry 4.

Pretty happy.
