Went on the xbox earlier on modern warfare 2, even with the new maps I was bored of it within 10 minutes, and the same with forza motorsport 3, I seemed to get very bored of whatever I am playing very quickly, It's the same with PC games. Do I just need to buy some new games or have I "grown out" of gaming .

I was like that. Just don't play any games for a while and then you'll start craving them again. :D

I found forza 3 an empty feeling game don't know why or even sure what I mean I just found it bland.
Just need to pick a good game and stick with it sometimes it takes sticking with to " get in to it" I am loving fifa world cup online at the moment even though im getting spanked as most people have years of fifa practice and i have none.

Take that wolverine game on pc it got average reviews but I stuck with it and actually found myself getting in to it and completed it.
Need to pick one game and stick with one when you have 50 games to choose from you end up playing 10 minutes of each here and there and getting bored.

You're getting old m8. :p

I was in that phase too. Then I my gaming interest re-ignited when Oblivion came out. now I don't have enought time to play all the games I want! (times are hard when you get old)

Mario Galaxy 2.

I find myself becoming increasingly more jaded with video games these days - dwelling on the faults and quickly losing interest. Galaxy 2 is a completely different matter, however, and reminds me why I got into gaming in the first place. A clear step up from anything else this gen and if it doesn't cure you it's time to move on and find a new hobby!

Try some games/genres that you normally wouldn't, that aren't modern warfare clones. Or even some games you might have missed, even if they aren't for the current generation.

I find sometimes there are just to many games that are mediocre. But then you pick up and start playing one that's a real gem and you can't put it down.

I'm always going through phases where gaming either just doesn't interest me at all, or is the center of my lifestyle. I'm sure you will find an awesome game sooner or later :)

You need so shake it things up. Pick something up for 'fun'. If you've got a Wii Mario Galaxy would be great but on a 360 think about:

Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, Bully, Viva Pinata, Crackdown, Ghost Busters, Brutal Legend, Amped 3, Rock Band or Guitar Hero.

Everyone goes through this (normally ends up with me buying some hardware!). It'll pass.

Not alone OP, I've been feeling the same for a couple of months now.

I'll play MW2 and L4D2 for 1-2 hours and then get bored, not much on the PS3 either.
Hoping GT5 and the new F1 game reignites my interest in games :(

I have been through times like this - nothing to worry about as a decent title can come out which drags you in again ;)

Try a different genre. Galaxy 2 is a good shout on that front.
Will take a look cheers :)

Helpful seek :p

Forza is a wonderful game on the surface but once you really get into it you start to see it's a very bland game, a shame really :o.

I get this every so often, I tend to go back and try complete games I have started but not completed when I get bored of 'current' games, then I feel like I deserve to play a new game, or something :D

This does help create new and more interesting 'games' :D

I often get bored of a game close to the end and start another one rather than finishing it - most of them I do come back to but I have a few unfinished in my collection.
I'm almost 40 and haven't quite grown out of gaming so I doubt that that's your problem. Sounds like you just need a little break or a completely new game experience (as has been suggested). Of which the already mentioned Galaxy 2 is a great choice, you could also try New super mario bros - this is assuming you also have a Wii though
