Hey guys. Can anyone help me with a Photoshop request? I'd like to see what my car would look like with these alloys and my PS skills are dire.

I'm pretty sure that the alloys below will look dreadful but if you[ve got some spare time I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

I agree, both look good and are a huge improvment on your current ones. But the silver multi spoke ones look the best IMO.

I really appreciate that paradigm, thanks! I'm thinking the silver look pretty good and I can finally get the no name alloys which the previous owner left on her off for good. Although the sti alloys don't look bad either. Hmm.

Anyway, thanks bro :)

it will reflect their condition

you can tell that the bit inside of the rim beside the spoke has ingrained dirt that will probably never come off.

Buy them, try some brick acid, then if that doesnt work get em refurbed Will be about £40 / £50 a wheel for a good job.

Ok, so that's 200 quid or $440 to get them refurbed. That's more than double their selling price. Maybe I should just get a set that are good to go. Ah well, back to the drawing board. Thanks for the input MrLOL.

didnt spot you were in NZ. no idea what guys charge over there but might be worth giving a company like this a ring to get a better ballpark figure

Can you inspect them prior to buying ? that would be the best way to work out what they're like. If its an ebay auction send them a message and ask if you can pop round and take a look. Say you're willing to pay cash and do a deal to save him paypal / ebay fees.

I've asked the guy for more pictures, including close ups. That's a good idea, asking to see before buying so I'll give that a shot. As I understand it, Trade Me doesn't charge the seller a fee and very few sellers use Paypal anyway; this guy is asking for cash only which is common so there's no leverage there.

Anyway, I'll see what he says and go from there. There's a really nice set of the bronze 17" alloys up for sale that the GTB should have on from the factory but I've just bought 4 new 16" tyres at over $1000 so that's not happening (she tells me).

Ho hum :)
