Hi there, im looking to go wireless in a few weeks, so I looked at my exchange, and in the Broadband availability overview, it says Wireless and there is a red cross next door, so is that me stuffed, please explain.:o

Wireless in what sense? Samknows saying there's no wireless available means no ISPs which use wireless (as opposed to coax or copper cable) to provide the service. There's nothing stopping you using wireless, such as 802.11n, for your own network.

Thanks for the info, sorry im new to all things wireless:o:o.

The router/modem will be by my general pc, to which there will be a wired line straight to the router, basically ill be using my wireless connection to my ipod touch, laptop, wii and ps3.

You presumably have some internet service already. If you only want wireless from some router to your devices there's no issue here. Get a wireless version, job done. Samknows isn't even relevant here.

Just was a little unsure, thanks for clearing it up. The only wired connection will be from my rig supplying the wireless router/modem with the signal.
