Heh, it's cus everyone was waiting until today to see if their favourite games would show up in the single day deals, now they're all rushing to get games that are reduced but not in the specials.

Can't even remember most of the games I bought - The Witcher, Ghostbusters, Prototype, Bioshock, Osmos, Flatout off the top of my head. Steam have had too many sales the last few weeks!
thinking of buying civ collection and killing floor but are they any good, what do you guys think?

Flatout Carnage is so muchfun
Haven't had a chance to play it yet. Does look like fun though. Can't wait to load it up! Almost makes me wish I wasn't on holiday for a month with all these games

Red Faction Guerilla is ridiculously fun, destroying things is just so therapeutic.
Don't buy Civ 4 unless you have a lot of spare time, because after Civ 4 you won't have any spare time.
Right up until the military interrupt you and won't **** off no matter how much you kill them!
KF its well worth the money, its a great game, and theres a lot of people wtill playing it, but be sure you have some friends to play, because that game (like l4d) it best played with friends, although its no that friend-need like L4D (if you get what i mean), its a different game, because even n00bs know how to shoot things, not like l4d that n00bs just rush trough the stage, and forget about team play

Do a lot of people still play Red Faction or Borderlands online?
Waaaaay too true, I thought WoW took a lot of me time too...
*shrug* i get on fine when i'm not playing with friends. There really aren't many griefers around anymore, infact i've only run into 1 since i started playing it again a few months ago (and i got him killed and he left) and some servers run a nocollisions mutator to prevent trader blocking anyway.

Yes that is slightly annoying, is there anyway to get the alert level down other than go back to a safehouse?
No. They only leave you alone if you outrun them but that only works at very low levels of alert. It is really annoying that you have to return to a safehouse because going into any old canyon makes no difference, but going into that particular 1 they suddenly lose you.

Okay so ME2 is back on sale, this time, as before 40% off.
I bought ME1 in the ME sale some weeks ago, but deferred ME2.
Given how often it has been on sale, i think there must be some DLC or new version due soon.
Severely tempted.
I figure I'll hold off, and hopefully pikcup whatevere GOTY or DLC version of it is when that launches. If not, then 'eggface' and I will buy it at Christmas.
