Influential pictures of our time

It's the only thing I can really remember what I was doing that day. Can remember walking home from school and my mum telling me.
That's all I remember too. I was walking home with my brother, he'd turned 16 that day and I was joking about him getting his driving license and being my chauffeur.

So many choices

Heysel, Hillsborough, Blair's big smile in 97, Gorby and Regan sitting by the fire in Reykjavik (so close to complete nuclear disarmament) Cantona kung fu kick.

All of these are Influential moments

And they didn't run him over, like so many others he simply disappeared into the Chinese version of the gulag

guy who took it commited suicide after questioning of why he took a photo instead of helping

That is not why he committed suicide. The little boy was very close to the aid truck that the photographer was with, the village was quite busy and with many aid troops around. He took about 10 minutes to take he photo soon afterwards the bird flew off. I forget what happened to the boy but I don't think he was left to die, probably picked up by his mum.
