Im interested in 5.1 wireless speakers. Are there any available for a reasonable price. My current speakers create such a mess with all the wires

Dolph will be here in a bit and blame all that on the Labour Party and then God :D

Wrong section dude...ask a mod to move it.

EDIT= I see "speakers corner" lol no this is the same as GD but they use BIGGER WORDS lmao

Completely wireless? Never seen any. I'd have thought the one benefit of having completely wireless 5.1 speakers would be far outweighed by interference, hissing, etc.

The only 5.1 speaker set I have seen with wireless speakers, was Logitech's Z5450, but they have rear wireless speakers, the rest are wired.

Even if some company does make fully wireless 5.1 speakers, you still have to have the wire from the speaker to a mains transformer, so they are never going to be totally wireless. I remember seeing a thread quite a while back, some guy thought wireless speakers had no wires at all, he seemed to think a speaker needs no electrical power, and would magically work off thin air. Batteries would be pointless really, you would be forever changing them.

An alternative is the Creative G550W, but as Marsman says you still have to run power cables to the rear speakers so no real benefit to my mind.

Seem to remember having read some review that the interference is slightly less in these speakers than in the Logitech Z5450, but will clearly never match that of a wired set.

I have wireless rear left and right speakers with my Creative Gigaworks G550W 5.1 setup.
They do have to be connect to a wireless receiver which has to be plugged into a mains wall socket but they work just fine.
