How long would the battery last on android headsets. I heard the X10 is down to hours and the desire is not much better ethoir.

as good as any other smart phones and always improving

with the latest update i easily get about 2 days out of my x10 (struggled to get a full day the very first time i charged it after release)

i believe the desires latest updates or mods gives it similar battery time

mainly use my x10 for music and never had an issue with it running flat tbh. GPS is the only real battery killer

KITTENS!!!!

Oh, and your clearly looking at an iPhone or a Desire.

I say get an iPhone (if you can find one), but then I am a Mac loving, Steve Jobs bumming fan boy.

those photos from a desire don't look bad at all, I dunno what people guff is about regarding HTCs cameras

I think the legend has the same cam with flash/light doesnt it ?

also what does android 2.1 give over 1.6 o_O sept for probably battery life

Having used both phones. The touch and responsiveness on the Desire is superior.

The x10 had a clunky feel, not sure if this is partly due to 1.6 Android. Also has less memory 384MB to the Desires 512MB.

I have used a X10, its a bit big for me considering that I need one that fits nicely in a pocket or a back pocket for that ( of a jersey) So its just a case of as big screen as possible but I think a 4 inch is OTT as something like a desire or legend is a nice size. it was smooth to a point I m sure updates will cure some problems but some will remain till it gets 2.1 probably. it did slow down and it hung on me a few times.

I m curious that no one mentioned the legend is there something wrong with it apart from being a bit smaller than the desire and a bit underpowered ?

It's a bit smaller and underpowered :p

Also if you can get it on contract then might as well go for a Desire no?!

As an Android fanboy it pains me to say this, but media playback, especially with the stock apps, is handled so much better on iOS4 than Android :(

That said you'll not find an iPhone 4 for £300, probably ever, let alone a few weeks after release, so get a Desire and download some better music/video apps from the market place :)

please don't kill me...I have to say its sortta on pay and go as I got a rare traiff (text and webb) for £15 I persome I have to put a bolt on as well. I wanna keep the same number and I m not sure if O2 will allow me to keep my number on contract

so err I sort off gotta take the full price wack.... >< if i was on contract I would have done it already :p
