I remember Clarkson saying a few years ago that the Veyron is probably the fastest car that will be. As it costs too much and it was unlikely that car manufacturers would keep plummeting money to make a loss (Developing them costs £5m - sold for £800,000).

Now this! The car is truely astonishing. I admire VW for doing this aswell.
