Ibiza

Room was about £245 each (837 Euros).

Flights not booked yet, going to shop around a tiny bit more and see if I can get any cash back through Quidco, but probably £170 each, so about £415 all together.

You should get the room for about 650 Euros or something going at that time.

which is the best resort in ibiza to go to? We were originally going to book it last night for San Antonio, but is there any better? or just stick to there?

I go most years - Been 5 times in total!

I normally stay in San Antonio just because I like being near the sunset strip, which has awesome bars and obviously the amazing Ibizan sunset. A few of the not so good clubs are in San Antonio, Ie. Eden, Es paradis, but it depends what music and Djs you are into. The other place that people go is Playa D'en Bossa, which is less chavvy and has Space and Borra Borra on the beach.

I'm into house/tech house/techno so go to clubs like space, cocoon at amnesia, privilege for the techno nights like monza and Zoo project, oh and Underground, which is an awesome converted villa/club/bar, amazing- Dc10 is awesome too but is hardly ever open now. Not sure what the crack is this season.

If you like trance then cream at amnesia - PVD smashing out a 6 hour set!

Imo, San Antonio is the best/most lively. Some people might argue and say that Playa d'en Bossa is the best though because of Bora Bora.

I went during the closing party last year. It was pretty dead during the day, had very poor weather as it rained every day! and the amount for cash for the big closing parties was stupid.

I wouldn't advice going to Ibiza to any one when compared to some of the other places I've been to, but dance music isn't my scene.

Tickets are usually cheaper at the door with a promo from one of the reps, and there's always a few reps near the door, so don't buy pre-tickets.

There's a booze cruise that's well worth the money, free bucks fizz live DJ spinning and a cruise to show you how amazing the resort it. I love every minute of it.

Have fun, Oh the mojitos from the place with "pussy" in its name, sucks... it's advertised as the world's best mojito, no doubt your see it as a bar on the bench walk straight down from Ibiza rocks.

Go for the last week as it's Epic although I haven't been for Over 20 years  + :(
Last time I went though I didn't come back for 3 months & when I did I was whiter than when i went. :D

Opening are generally the best. Seeing as you missed them, I'd go for the closing parties. Also check out which days to go on as different tastes will like different days.

12 of us got back from a week in Ibiza last Saturday. Went out on the 28th May. Absolutely awesome week, clubbing isn't really my thing but we went to the space oening party (fatboy slim). The west end wasn't overly packed but it was just right, i'd hate to go there in july/august.

I am going on 15th July! Apparently mid July is ok because its not TOO packed due to opening parties being finished, it's then ment to get reaalllyy busy from late july through august

will be busy in August due to the Radio 1 weekend and because it's the peak of the season. I'm no longer going in Sept as I had to cancel :( Maybe next year...

I head out on Thursday :0

Loads of big club nights of which i'm looking forward to (Tiesto, Armin, Paul Van Dyk).

PVD is the day we arrive after getting up at about 3:00am ready to leave for the aiport for an early 7:50am flight.

Can't wait :)

Sounds like you are on the same flight as me, only a week later! I leave on thursday next week, arrivial in ibiza expected to be around 9am:cool:

I've been 5 times since 2003, the last time being last summer. I've always preferred it when we've stayed in Playa d'en Bossa rather than San Antonio. Space is on your doorstep there and, with We Love Sundays at Space being my favourite night, it saves travelling across the island from San Antonio.

I've never been too keen on San An, Eden is alright but just feels like any big club in the UK does, it doesn't feel special like Space and Pacha do. The West End is pretty grotty, but the sunset strip is good; great atmosphere there especially when Radio One are playing live from Mambo.

Wherever you end up staying, make sure you do Space on the Sunday and a decent house night at Pacha. Both are fantastic clubs.
