Anyone else suffering from post Steam sale withdrawals

I only spent £26 on the absolute bargain that was the THQ pack, £200s worth of games for £26, certainly going to get my monies worth out of dawn of war at the very least

NO............NO.........NO

No want to see anymore steam sales for a very long long long time...like 15years long

My Steam profile says i have 230 games..........
steam-7.png

And i mostl likely only played about 20 of them so far and completed/finished about 3 :o

And then i got my big pile of normal retail boxed PC games to go through
And then i can start on my small pile of PS3 and xbox360 games

you need to be punished...you should complete every game on your steam list and not start another until you have completed the one you were playing:p

I managed not to spend too much, bring on the weekend deal! :D

£1.74 Beat Hazard

£1.70 FlatOut Ultimate Carnage

£4.75 Ghostbusters: The Videogame, Galcon Fusion

£6.99 Peggle Complete Pack

Still haven't played the majority of the games I purchased in the Christmas sale like many others here!

Just Cause 2 and Aquaria were the best purchases this time around though. I'll get around to playing the others one day.

I only spend around £20

garrys mod
order of war ( which sucks )
killing floor
a JC2 DLC

I suppose if you factor in the cost an a new 1.5TB drive I bought after the christmas sales for steam specifically then yea it does add up but they are so cheap that it's worth doing :D

Was tempted by a number of offers this time around - people bugging me about Borderlands but didn't give in (this time) ...

Wish I'd picked up Flatout, but the deal was over before I'd finished watching the trailer. And the X3 pack finished between goinng in my cart and getting to checkout. Still, got the Tales of Monkey Island pack to work through, and Bionic Commando, Tropico 3, a few others I now forget. Twas a good week for frivolous spending.

Spent around £90... Got some great games though... Keep my busy for a long time.. lol

I really hope Steam has NO MORE SALES FOREVER, as my credit card bill is due in the next few days... Damn, need to pay it, otherwise the games will cost more due to interest payments.. lol

I m waiting for my credit card bill to come....it better be here in the next few days

I only spent £6 odds on The Witcher and Thief.

Was waiting on a deal on Peggle but it was not to be.

Sad times indeed. :(

Think I spent like £30. I had most of the games they had on the daily sales and the rest I wasn’t interested in, but i picked up:

Ghost Busters - Was an ok game, but I wouldn’t play through it a second time
Borderlands - Awesome game, love the art style
Dirt 2 - Not installed yet
Devil May Cry 4 - Not installed yet
Shatter - Great indie game
Thief Deadly Shadows - Seems decent, only played the training mission though
Beat Hazard - Uh, my EYES! good game though :p
Scaraboar - Terrible game

But yeah, I miss looking at what crazy sales they have and looking at reviews for games that are like £3 lol :p.

I got L4D2, Just Cause 2 and Metro 2033, all for about 36 quid.

Should keep me busy for a bit but I'm still drawn towards BC2.

I bought six games in the sales and waited with baited breath for six 'o' clock everyday of the sales to see what was on offer.

Now it's all over and Steam just doesn't seem the same.

Roll on Thanks Giving sales and Christmas sales, or at least MidWeek Madness :D

I would do, if I didn't have so many good games to play...

withdrawal symptoms? haha yeah its funny to see them back at normal prices and think i wouldnt pay that for it!!

I spent a small fortune (to me anyway) as I got the 2 L4D's, the COD pack, GTA4, GRID, PvZ, Shatter & Max and the magic marker (for our kid of course!)

It was a great sale (like xmas) but my wallets taken a bit of a pounding

LOL @ that guy above who spent £300 - classic list m8! :)
