I've never had a blackberry before, I was using a old htc blueangle phone until the network decided to pack up. People say that windows phones are much better then the blackberrys, but cos I have cerebral palsy the touchscreen on my htc phone was a bit of a nightmare, cos I kept touching the screen by accident. So that's the main reason Ive made the switch to the blackberry and with a bit of luck I wont press buttons by accident. But the side buttons are a slight worry, can you disable these??

Also is there any easy way to unlock the phone cos its locked on orange and I have a virgin simcard?

Ive seen some blackberrys unlocking auctions on ebay for like £2 - £3,, you give them your IMEI numb and they send you the unlock code. has anyone had a phone unlocked on ebay and would you recommend it?

Yeah got a Sony Ericsson unlocked via ebay, no problems. I sent them IMEI and got the unlock code in an email within 5 mins.

Got the phone today and that ebay link unlocked my phone.:) Didnt think it would work for a second, but thought it was worth the £2.25. What a bargin.

Apparently you cant do master resets on blackberrys to get them back to the factory state. So I will need to be careful what I install on it.

Ive installed the facebook app, but it dont work on wifi only the data plan thing, so Ive uninstalled it, dam. Im thinking about installing windows live, but I guess that wont work on wifi either??
