Dad's I need your tips

Make sure the wife is breast feeding otherwise you will end up doing your fair share of bottle feeding the baby.

What's wrong with that? Even when my missus was breast feeding we had a breast pump so I could feed the baby as well from bottles. Unfortunately she had to stop because of a problem with her wrists which required Cortisone(?) to fix so we went onto formula. But why wouldn't you as a father want to feed your own child out of interest?

I once blew a rasberry at my son, he was older than 9 days, when changing a nappy, he loved it but it took 6 motnhs for his to stop blowing saliva all over the house.

My god daughter taught my little boy to do it, and now he sprays EVERYONE when he sees them. He is 8 months atm.

Luckily both my boys have never been that bad, but they did used to cry when the mat was cold.

Now we have the Wee stand off each time where they wait till you take the old nappy away to wee everywhere!

Another vote for distraction, our 9 month old son doesn't hate changing diapers and clothes but he isn't fond ot it.

Usually giving him anything in his hands is enough of a distraction to get the job done without him wiggling and trying to roll.

Get a toy that makes a recognisable sound and rattle it at every change. We've got a cuddly cow with a cowbell (Mrs Moo-Cow!) who was shook every change, and after about a week, the boy just accepts a change as soon as he hears the bell.

As long as your not doing anything wrong don't pander to littlun you'll dig yourself a big hole called attention that's difficult to get out of, let him scream just as you will have to do at bed times

This* or get the woman to do the changing. Stop acting like it's the 21st Century. :D :p

* Seriously...
