Has the iphone changed much since its release?

I wanted to buy the iPhone 4, until the antenna issue.

Wouldn't even consider an android phone because none of them really appeal to me.

First of all, 15% is not nearly 20%. 19% by RIM is nearly 20%.
If you call 15% in 3 years dominating, then what do you call Androids 10% in 1.5 years?

How many different Android handsets would that be based on? I think its fair to say if Apple had multiple different handsets at multiple price points then sales would be even higher.

It makes me laugh when people have to refer to operating system stats when trying to 'attack' the iPhone.

One phone to rule them all........ :geek: :D

It's better shaped, has a better screen, you can fit more on it and, arguably, it looks better too.
90 per cent of the planet would prefer to have an iPhone 4. It will suite their needs better.

Thanks for the fanboy science.

(too bad that 90% of people on the planet expect their phone to be able to make phone calls (sorry couldnt resist:p))

If not OS what what were you refering to? Nowhere did you mention iPhone, iPhone3G or iPhone3GS. Try to me more accurate please.

Oh and, im not attacking the iPhone, im attacking you. Pointing out your lack of education and pseudo science.

How often do you even see iPhone adverts

I agreed in general with the majority of your post, except that bit.

I must see/hear one of the iPhone ads at least once a day. Though not nearly as much as that ****ing annoying iPad advert.

Thanks - but not my review - are pocket lint fanboys too?

Even with the antenna issue the iPhone is still slaughtering the HTC competion :D

Thing is as a mac user getting the google stuff requires me to go and set it all up, instead of just putting a username and password in and my Mac Pro, Macbook Pro and iPhone are all on the same page. [Including keychains and system settings] Lovely :D

Besides I pay for MobileMe for more than just the syncing, webspace and email etc. It's a package which is nice :)

Why not? I can't say in two years of having a 2G then a 3GS i've ever missed a call or it's dropped a call or missed an email!? Or texts for that matter?

Well as a mac user i suppose you have a point there...personally other than the iphone i couldnt see myself owning a mac computer...mainly due to the cost of them and im too used to windows now...saying that i have played with a few macs and they are pretty decent but not really my cuip of tea tbh.

Maybe your lucky then because on my brothers 3GS which is on O2...he hardly gets a signal and thats in London...same with one of the guys in my office..he also has the 3GS on tmobile ie unlocked and he hardly gets a decent signal...whereas me on tmobile on my BB 9700 i get a full signal 9/10 times. Its fustrating for me if i cant answer an email or answer a call because i havent got a decent signal...and in the business im in...i need to be contactable 24-7 so my BB fills that void very well....it hasnt once let me down...in fact the past 2 yrs that ive been using BB...its never ever let me down. But when it comes to multimedia stuff my BB9700 is good but not as good as the iphone is...so for me having the BB to keep me in touch with the world and having the iphone4 to keep me entertained is having the best of both worlds imo.

I dont think they are advertising the 4 currently due to stock issues? I havent seen any ads on telly.

(The iPad ad is fantastic marketing - makes me want to buy one and I already own one - maybe its loaded with subliminal sheep :D. )

They dont need to as the apple fanboi's have already created the hype by queing for hrs and in some cases days outside apple stores:p

But the ipad ad is pretty much one of the most annoying ads on tv at the moment...was toying around with getting one but then i came to my senses and thought...ill use it for a week or so then it will sit there gathering dust....thats what im like with the latest gadgets:p

Quite impressed this is only 3 pages so far.

I hate how every little thing now on a phone now is scrutinised to death in regards to which is better and which is not.

On either side of the fence, there are people who just tar the other with the same brush.

Just seems like people are attacked for their decision when they buy an iPhone.:(

The more pages this thread goes, the uglier its gonna get in here:rolleyes:

Happy debating.

I've not actually compared my 3GS to a BB, have done to HTCs tho and difference is negligible really.

Although when I'm in London with my 3GS I always get full (or at minimum) 3G signal so must be a dodgy place :p

Er because you posted it - (and it didnt work.)

Unless you have something useful to say why not troll off elsewhere?

We, my colleagues and I, enjoy reading your post and proving you wrong every time. I hope you dont get too frustrated being exposed like this.
So, I shall not "troll off" just yet :)

Tell us more. Dont be shy, give us more of your fun iPhone facts. Let the fun continue!
