Just jumping on the pedal does not give the best results
And I can remember having several mini's that didnt want to heavy brake in a straight line

Do a search for David Vizard, back in the day he was a God at tuning for the mini. I might even still have his book somewhere..

Best to take some personal initiativeI would imagine the rear is doing exactly the opposite of locking up, and the bias is so forward (due to the far superior brakes), that the slightest bit of momentum either side of straight on when braking is causing the back end to move around a lot, so when trail braking etc, you'll get a lot of snap oversteer. I'm just guessing though
opps, guess not then. I thought all modern cars had abs pretty much.it has no ABS.
