Manhunt in Northumbria on BBC

The more I watch the footage the worse looking that chief constable looks - seriously someone on her wage should be able to afford a hairstyle!

Why don't you judge her on her abilities and not her hairstyle or looks - this isn't celebrity big brother

Q: Six days on what are you going to try next.

A: Good question. We are going to bring in reinforcements from every force in the country. The officers will stand at every street corner and tree in Northumberland. Moat will have nowhere to go and we'll nab him by the end of the week.

So easy to take cheap shots from the comfort of your armchair eh ;)

Is it odd or is it just me that finds it a bit disturbing to hear his Mother say that he is better off Dead ?

Surely she would prefer him to be caught and locked up for life rather than any more bloodshed ?

I couldnt imagine me ever thinking never mind saying something like that about one of my children.

Must be quite a bit of organisation going into this... I'm curious now about how sealed off this place is... could I just walk in along a seldom trod footpath, or are policemen surrounding it? I want to know, but I'm too bust to go to Northumberland and see it for myself atm. :(

Also, if I was Mr Moat I'd run away to The highlands somewhere and hunt sheep.

It is interesting to see pictures of policemen effectively being soldiers though, it's like a mini police state.

Anyway, hope nobody else gets killed, but interesting nonetheless.

She's clearly embarrassed about what he has done and doesn't know how to conduct herself. I can't believe she really means it.

I imagine she'll be in shock.

Unless you've had a grown up child who has shot two people and killed another, you can't know quite how you would react.
