Are these any good?

Seen them for around £39 a corner for 175/65/14 fitted from Blackcircles. I only do about 4K miles a year with a mix of town, A roads and duel carriageways.

not really. They're ok, they're better than the chinese junk, but not much else if the recent evo tests are anything to go by.

what size are you ordering so we can maybe recommend something better ?

Here's some others in your size:

I'm no tyre expert and I know price doesn't always determine what's better. However with tyres it's normally the case (Not always - P6000 are a prime example). A tyre which is £39 a corner isn't going to be brilliant. Tyres are the most important and vital components of the car and you should really try and buy the best possible tyres you can. All to often people skimp out on a decent set of tyres yet have after market £300 DVD / TV / What other balls head unit installed.

Thanks all, just trying to get some reasonable tyres for a reasonable price, not necessarily the cheapest.

Oh and I don't have a £300 head unit or any other boy'd up tat on my car either! :p:D

vredestein hi trac you could look at too, although an older tyre now, they did win the auto express tyre tests when they were new out.

For the 206, have you considered Semperits? I've had great experience with them, in wet and dry conditions. You'd be looking at a bit more in cost, though.

How much would you ideally like to spend? Is £39 the top end?
