So, there was just this grown woman on the news in tears because her mum got told to stay in her house by an armed police officer, in the area that Raoul Moat is being hunted.
She sounded really upset and angry that her mum can't get out of the house, presumably so she can join her in the street causing a nuisance.
So, I know extreme, but would that woman rather the police just let everyone roam around freely when there are umpteen armed police hunting an armed man who has said he will shoot the general public.
People like this really grate me!!
Edit: Excellent, BBC have a video short:

. If she wants to leave her house and stay with her daughter then let her. Absolutely ridiculous. Poor old lady must be scared witless alone in her home.
I was thinking exactly the same as you when I saw this.
