If you can read instructions and follow them, yes - it's simple to do. If you're a dunce though, it's not for you.

To the person who is going from Orange contract to Orange contract - you might have to put the number on a payg sim between contracts, some deals like that are a bit silly with the backend systems.

I must be missing something, on Mobiles where your getting it from i get the Orange Dolphin 25 plan to work out at £17.19 a month after redemptions, how did you get it to £12.50?

how did i get it for 12.50 ?

half of £25 is £12.50

first 15months is 1/2 price
 
Ahh so overall its still £17.19 (average over 24 months) as i worked out, fair enough i thought it would be but the email you posted me threw me off a little as it looked like it was £12.50 a month for all 24 months :D

Not your fault at all. Just me having a brain fart :)

£17.19 is pretty good going for a Desire, but i'm not sure i'll use it enough to warrent paying that much a month. Thinking of getting its little brother in the Wildfire for £10 a month.
 
Thinking of going for the Orange deal on mobiles.co.uk 300 mins any network unlimited texts and 500mb internet. Free desire and 15 months half price at £12.50

Seems like and awesome deal ?
 
I hate you all! Have had to buy a desire. Went with mobiles.co.uk ~£17 pm with the cash back. My first smart phone so better be good!

tbh seems like a no brainer only down side is the 24 months contract but I change my phone about every 10 years so its not really going to be a problem.
 
For those that've bought the desire through mobiles.co.uk is it the original brown colour or is it the black version? It would seem that the brown one is rare to find now, most shops offering the black one, which I feel doesn't look as good.
 
Still haven't received my phone yet :/.

I rang mobiles.co.uk on Sat, they said I would have my phone by Monday. I rang earlier today and said that my phone still hasn't been processed and i'll get it tomorrow. Still haven't had a despatch e-mail so I checked again, now they are saying i'll get it on Wed.

Thought this website was meant to be top dog? pffft.
 
Got mine direct from orange in the end through quid co. Paid £100 for the phone with £22.50 a month contract on dolphin 25 with 50 pound cash back from quidco. Which comes to £590 over the 24 months. Not the best deal out there I guess but I am happy with the phone. Going from a Samsung D500 to this was a massive upgrade!
 
£55 for the phone and £20 a month 300 mins/unlim texts and net - Vodafone

So £535 all in, so if phone costs £360, I'm getting contract of £7.29 a month. Happy with that ;)
