The music from banjo kazooie is my favourite.

Turrican series had awesome music and anything by the Bitmaps was full of win.

Chris Huelsbeck, what a legend. Turrican, Apidya, R-Type, Quik and Silva etc. Own all the blokes albums.

Yeah bitmaps ruled, Chaos Engine on the Amiga was a stand out track, awesome.

All of the Mission 1 tracks stick with me particuarly, and everyone should know E1M1 by heart.

This is the best theme song from any modern game period

Thread says "retro games". And Snake Eater is about a bazillion times better than that.

For me the most memorable/best soundtrack is Secret of Mana on the SNES.

Into The Thick of It is my favourite track.

Overall its' just a damn awesome soundtrack but that track in particular makes me think of back then and how much I enjoyed the SNES. Best console ever!

Turrican 3 - Level 1(Amiga version)

Donkey Kong Country 2 - Bramble Blast

Streets of Rage 2 - Stage 3

Castlevania Dracula X - Stage 1

But the PC Engine version was better as it was properly composed

Not sure if this is retro enough yet but its well known Castlevania classic. Castlevania Symphony of the Night - Dracula's Castle

Megaman X4 - Magma Dragoon

Shadow of the Beast. Stunning game at the time (1989) for both graphics and sound (how many layers of parallax scrolling), shame the gameplay was a bit ropey, a real demonstration of what the Amiga could do.

Anyone else play Bust-A-Groove on PS1? It's a very rare game and I still have mine in mint condition. I've got the even rarer Bust-A-Groove 2 which was NTSC only.
