Spain are 1/1 and I bet £5 it says:

Stake - £5 | To Win - £5

Does that mean I will just get my £5 back (actually gaining no money) or £5 back on top of the £5 stake gaining £10 overall?

Just confused me a bit! :)

I think it means a pound back for every pound you bet.

So if it was 2/1 you get two pound for every pound you bet.

edit: actually I'm confused, surely 1/1 and 2/1 are the same?

£10 back.

You get the winnings and your stake back.

The odds only tell you how much money you 'win', sort of like a profit. Then you add (separately) the amount you staked to get a total equal to how much money you'll have to play with afterwards.

Also bear in my mind it may mean to win within 90 mins, so if spain score in extra time you win nothing.

I prefer decimal odds. So 2.0 = even money. £10 @ 2.0 = £20 back (£10 profit plus your stake)

3.0 = 2/1. £10 @ 3.0 = £30 back.

etc.

Stan James includes the injury time in the standard 90 minutes bets.

EVERY layer on earth includes injury time it is part of the 90 minute make up of a football match

Also, 18/1 on Villa to score and Spain win 1-0. Might be worth a fiver for a possible £120

How does 19.0*5 = 120?

Just back Xavi & Forlan for Golden Ball anyway

Must have pressed 6 instead. 114 returns + 6 stake = 120

What is golden ball?

Sneijder gets a couple of deflected goals: Uruguay wouldn't have got out of the group without Forlan and quite simply FIFA want to have Xavi's babies (read the writeup on their site, they are gushing over him)

He's won the man of the match on atleast 2 occasions when i've been watching, although that could have just been ITV's MOTM. Dunno, he's been good though.

tempted with 3-1 spain and villa to score first, 65/1

or maybe a quid on 2-2 and puyol to get first goal. 500/1:p
