hi ,

so i want a watch since my one looks crap (was like £20) =/ ....

i plan on getting a better 1....around £50-£60..i guess.....preferable under £60

what watches would u recommened?

I don't know much about watches but from what i have read, it only really matters about the technical side when you start looking at watches over £250 or so. So a watch around £60 or so, anything that takes your fancy i guess.

I'm sure someone will correct me. :)

Browse the H Samuel website.

look into watches made by "Skagen"

they're all dress watches but they're well made and most of them look ace.

Look at the Seiko 5's on ebay. £40 quid gets a decent watch, various styles to choose from, with a 7S26 movement they are well proven. It'll be a brand new 'greymarket' one, but it'll be 25-40% of the price.

I had a timex before and it was great. For about a 6 months. The lumnibrote dial function is nice.

lol...maybe i wasnt really clear about explaining...

i was hoping to buy somthing like this..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mens-SEIKO-5-...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item53e067f8d2

but ...thats £129!!!.... dont want to spend THAT much money on a watch..

but could anyone help me find somthing that atleast looks similar? (metal wrist watch, similar type of design, atleast showing the date)...

Did you already look throught the orientwatches link I gave? several watches there with date, atuo movement, metal bracelet for around your budget.

the mako is a genuinely good watch - something rare at that price point

Have a look at the Pulsar and Lorus range, very nice and start at £24.00 upwards. Both are part of the Seiko range and while not up to the same quality as Seiko they will certainly not be rubbish. Also Citizen is a very good make, more expensive but excellent quality and I believe they are the largest manufacture in the world but may be wrong on this last point..

Check out the range and read full description of all three watches on the bottom of each page of watch concerned by going to the excellent site. The Watch Hut, very good reputation, next day free delivery. Good luck. :)
