Online order rant (Just4Baby)

Hi guys, just thought I would have a little rant about my latest online order.

So to start my son was born on the 4th, and we already have a daughter, so we need a double pushchair.

My wife and I was searching around and found the one we liked last month, it's a half pink, half blue double buggy with bro and sis on it (very cute :P)

But not wanting to order it intill we was 100% sure he was a boy (it was not 100% from the scan) I waited till he was born.

Went online and found the pushchair online at http://www.just4baby.co.uk and ordered it when he was just a few hours old, got an email saying my order has been received and a few hours later an email saying payment has been received.

On the website is says it will be dispatched within 3-5 days on next day delivery, so the latest it should have been here is Saturday, I didn't mind this too much because we didn't plan on going anywhere the first week anyway.

So we are now sat here, with no pushchair, no replys to emails, and when you call there number you get a message saying "Welcome to voicemail, this person is currently on the phone and there mailbox is full" and cuts off. I have been trying nonestop today since 9am to get threw to them :(

The worst thing is that was money we put aside for the pushchair and no spare cash till the 25th :o and i cannot get in contact with them for a refund so i can get the pushchair quicker, hell im not even sure if this is a scam site (I did look at reviews and people said how fast delivery was)

So now stuck with what to do :(

Any advise on what i should do next? I also wanted to make this post in hope people searching them on google might find this and think twice.

It's not like some gadget order i have not received on time but something we need :(
 
Hmm, aside from hammering the call desk. I dont see much you can do at the moment. If you dont get a response back, can you claw your money back via your credit card company?
 
Was not ordered with a CC :( but a debit card. Ill keep trying the number and if not ill phone barclays tomorrow and pray there is something they can do
 
If you dont hear back from them, get on to Trading Standards. I'd bet they will respond when they get a vist from them.
 
HAHA Update :D

I managed to get hold of them on the phone, the bloke said it was dispatched on the 8th and i should have received it :confused:

So he checked the tracking number and it's currently at the Coventry depot for delivery and if it's not here by 4pm to give him a ring back (Ive got a mobile number this time) and he will chase it up for me.

So fingers crossed that should be the end of it and ill have it later :)

Did he give you the tracking number and name of delivery company? If so, call them yourself to confirm...
