What a crazy day it was on Saturday!

It was mad busy all day at the Red Arrows tent so I didn't have much time to sneak away to take photos. I did manage to get away for the Red Arrows display though and I made my down to the Datum point in front the crowd line where Red 10 was doing his usual great commentary.

The display started off really cloudy but the Sun started to sneak through for the latter end of the display.

All of my pics are unedited (I'm pretty rubbish with PS :p) Just cropped and resized.

Just as the Reds taxi away the Hurricane lands.

Big Battle entrance! (Something the Spanish display team moaned about at the after party cause they can't do it. :p)

:)

I managed to get inside the Vulcan to after it landed after its display, a friend took pics on his camera and I'll upload them when I can get them.

well pic' 2 - 5 are all great.
Youseem to be just in the right spot for the head on shot's
Well done

Pic 1 needed a slower shutter speed to blur the prop on the hurricane to get the sense of motion.

I've recently taken some pics of the Red Arrows and I thought my shots were pretty good til opened this thread! The Detonator part 2 picture is just amazing and shows how skilled these guys are - an absolutely fantastic set :)

Thanks for the comments :)

If you ever find yourself at a Red Arrows display and want pics like that then get yourself to the crowd line if you can and find someone in front of the crowd in a blue flying suit.

That will either be one of the team Photographers or Circus 10 doing the video recording for the pilots debrief.

I sat down just in front of one of our photographers to get those shots.

Here are the Vulcan photos my friend took using a bridge camera.
