5830 Temps?

Hey all

Received my 5830 from OcUK today and was wondering how hot these cards get under load so I don't get paranoid. My 4770 used to be 40 idle and 65c on load.

Well, what temps are you getting, idle and under load?

Well idle its around 40 then underload its about 80-81c thats after about 10 mins gameplay, on the andtech review it reports temps of up to 86c on load, 40 idle, so if it goes over that should i be worried?

Doesn't sound too bad. Maybe try cooking, errr stressing it under furmark for a few mins, see what temps you get.

IF you use a program like MSI Afterburner, you could set a custom fan profile, so the fan spins quicker when the temperature increases, though it would mean more noise

Which one did you get? Mine idles at 25-30C and load is 50C. :S

Mine is the Powercolor though, so it has a 5870 cooler.
