I want to get 2 x GTX480, but was thinking, who is the best manufactor to go for Evga / ASUS / Zotac / Gigabyte.

Can anyone give me a pointer, would like the one that does not make too much noise, or maybe the better after support.

Thanks

If you want to overclock then Asus is the better bet. Me, I'd wait* for the inevitable GF 104 refresh. Will run cooler and use a lot less power.

*Unless you absolutely have to have new cards now, in which case, buy.

the one with the longest warrenty ie zotac with 5 years as there all just refrence NV products and with it being a hot gpu its got more chance off failing thats just my 2 cents

Ye the 485gtx will be here soon since the 460gtx has taken the spot light off the 480
I can't wait for the refresh i've got £700 waiting for some cards :)

go with EVGA. Superb RMA service and 3 year warranty

ASUS cards have BIOS'es which decrease overclocking potential from my experience

I'd get a zotac just because they're the cheapest

also GF104 only goes up to 384 shaders, way off the 470 or 480

and on that note get a couple of 470's + WC (should be able to afford it with the spare £260) and overclock them over 2x 480's on air
