What for you is the most important component in a pc...

GPU gets nearly double what any other component gets spent on it.

However the PSU is the only component I wouldn't spend less on to meet my budget.
 
It's hard to say. I researched all my parts for such a long time and for my budget I think I gave them all as much attention as the other. I guess the only component that I didn't research was my mobo, it seemed really hard to research so I just compared it to others and made a choice.

Now this doesn't make sense but I'd say the mobo would be my most important part.
 
PSU or motherboard. If one dies, it can be a real pain in the rear. PSU can take more components with it and if the MB died, you have to take everything out.

argh... I've actually had a psu and mb die at the same time. Its not fun.
