a) no camera available
b) awaiting a new res and barbs etc. to arrive so I can cool my CPU

I've had SLi'd GTX 280s and Crossfire'd 5850s I can compare to. Didn't record any benchmarks with them though so comparisons will just be estimated on personal experience.
The rest of the system is a Gigabyte GA-X58-UD7A, Core i7 920 D0 (previously clocked at 4.2Ghz) and 6GB of DDR 1600Mhz RAM.

I hate loud PC volume, hence water cooling my CPU. If water blocks are released for 460s then I'd be tempted to get a couple of them too...

Looking forward to seeing how you get on with these. Shame you haven't got any benches saved from the 5850s to compare them to, I could do some though if you're keen to see the difference.
I'd be good if you could do some high levels of AA benches, to see how they cope with it compared to a 480. There are suspicions that they won't handle it like a 480 can and the reviews haven't covered it.
This is stock 460s so I would expect the sonic plats to beat a 5970 as I think they are >10% faster than stock 460s
