Just complete this other form with your current, correct, details.
Who gives a crap what others think if you're leaving anyway?......how would you feel if 6 months down the line, everyone in the company is talking about the guy who was called into HR & excorted off the premises because some things didn't match up.
I agree with this. I lied about experience in an interview once. I got the job, and when i was expected to do a certain job, and i couldn't, i felt like a right prat. I was constantly worrying about the next time they would ask me as well. Not nice at all. It's not nice working in a place where you know nothing or don't have the experience to do what you stated you could.
I'm going the honest route.
I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks a lot for everyone's comments, they really have helped a lot!!
Keep 'em crossed for me folks.
Well I just got back from the interview.
I filled out the forms correctly and handed them over during the interview. They barely took a quick peak at them but it looked like they had my old resume and cover letter printed out in front of them.
They didn't mention it at all!! I'm guessing they will sit down and talk through my application form and it will most probably arise then. Hopefully they overlook it and don't make too big of a deal out of it.
The big plus was that I could happily tell them to call my old company and get a reference from them. I had a good record. They definitely seemed like they would call all my references and back check. Even wanted a vile of wee for a drugs check!!

Congratulations
