What are peoples thoughts on this mouse?

Whilst i don't think it will set the gaming world on fire i cant see it bombing either.

My mouse is on its last legs so im starting to look for a new one, done a search not found anything about it on here really.

I want to try a razer or roccat mouse this time around, on the razer side i was thinking deathadder or lachesis..then i saw this one.

Also any news if OCUK still stock it?

Looking at the design and the specs, it not much different from a Logitech MX518....and thats over half the price.

Ive never used Razor mice due to the size and flatness of them. Now they have brought this out which looks pretty damn similar to Logitech's main designs. Still not worth the overhead because of the Razor logo IMO

Don't think you can say that as you haven't actually used it, I use to use the G5 and I feel like the Imperator is so much better, just feels so much more natural then the G5 and the scroll wheel is much better, also not mentioning the adjustable side buttons, were you can put them in a place which best suits you.

i was also looking for a mouse in that price range and honestly found that poor value for money.
the g500 imo is a better mouse it has more buttons more dpi(if that is you sort of thing) and is a little cheaper, lately i have also heard how good logitech's after sales service is.
with razer you really dont get much for your money.
if the grip on the impertrator suits you then i would 100% recommend the g500

Hi, i have recently got this mouse and think it looks amazing and performance is excellent apart from one problem. When i let go of the mouse the cursor will continue to move ever now and again.

Can anyone help?

Have contacted Razor but waiting reply.

Could be the usual problem as mentioned above like having a hair on the sensor. If it is not any of these things - it's the ****ty sensor that comes with the Imperator. Send it back and get a Deathadder like I did. I've never looked back. Shame, I really wanted to like the Imperator.

Get the Deathadder.....

I was just about to make a new thread on this mouse but searched first and found this one.

So I got this mouse today from OcUK and all I can say is, wow this is one crap mouse.

After I had plugged it in and installed the latest drivers I noticed that when I lifted it of the mat the cursor went down and to the right about an inch, I noticed that it did this all the time it wasn't any dust or hair in the laser. I then loaded up global agenda to test it in that and it was terrible, if I lifted the mouse off a millimeter it moved the camera and made it unplayable. I plugged back in my trusty ol' deathadder and tried that and it was fine, no problems whatsoever.

To the internet I went and found that this was a common issue with all razer 3.5G laser mice.... why I hadn't looked up for issues before I bought it is beyond me, I guess because it was razer and there was good reviews on the site about it so I didn't check elsewhere, there is one review however that says it is bad but it was written so trollish that I dismissed it and believed the other 3.

I also noticed that the volume control knob and mute button had stopped working on my x6 keyboard when I had the Imperator plugged in my PC...??? I could find no record of this online. The other knob (hehe) that controls the lighting on the keyboard was fine, as were the back and forward and play/pause button and other marco keys.

There is a firmware update that says it has fixed the issue but I read from a lot of sites that it hasn't. I am sending this mouse back tomorrow and ordering a new deathadder like I should have done in the first place...
