Scenario:

Once again, at work.

Nother site i work at this time. Have been there a few months and been chatting up this 23yr old tech girl. Some stuff came up a few weeks ago (mate died) so i was not with it really.

I asked here what she was up to on the weekend last thur and she said she had some stuff to do, she asked me what i was up to, i said i was thinking of trying out a new resturant and was actually gonna ask her along, well obviously she was busy...so i said 'maybe next week?' she gives me a sly look and says 'maybe'..
Chatted ok to her since Friday, and asked her today about this weekend, she said she was busy again and had a birthday party to go to Friday but might pop in to the staff end of term do Friday night for an hour or so.. but likely not.. I was not planning on going anyhow.. Its the end of term basically so anything past Friday is my deadline. Thinking to just drop it as she seems non interested? Coming off a long term relationship, my woman reading skills are crapola :D
 
stop thinking about it

ask if she mentions it or starts coming onto you / flirting great

otherwise just fap her face out of existance in your mind
 
I'm about 100 years older than you guys but I've always found that confidence and assertiveness goes a long way (this is different to arrogance). Just tell her you'd love to take her out. If she says no then walk away.

I read this as, 'Just tell her that you love her and take her out' :eek:

Perhaps a touch over-assertive :p
