The Official "Unofficial" OcUK Forum, Annual LAN Party

i have two massssssssssssive UPS units to keep upto 150 800Watt PCs online in the event of the old power failure.

Does it look like this!

I have put my name down for possible interest. Depends on venue as I hate long distance driving.

Will probably ragequit after half an hour and sit in the corner drinking vodka till I collapse though.

I am a gayer

Congrats.

I assume that is all your creativity used up for today?

Hi guys, I'll be up for this, though if it's a weeeknd (which I presume it will be) I need a reasonable amount of notice to get the Saturday off work.

I'll be happy to help with any admining required and any game servers that need to be set up over the internet such as the OcUK CSS/TF2/L4D ones.

I'd be up for this.
I can supply homebrew!
Obviously, me being in Glasgow I wouldn't want to go that far South but Manchester way would be OK.
Could possibly cart some other jocks down too. We expect our own section where we can drink our Super, let our haggis roam free before the slaughter, shoot up our skag and have a good fight afterwards.

Only thing missing was if you were able to carry more than 1 passenger or not, some people got them crazy mpv's ... some of us can barely fit 2 people + stuff :(

I was joking obviously but in all seriousness that's the impression I got when I went to I-Series (the first and only time). I thought it was ****! Having said that it might be different if everyone knew each other from the same place. Geek arguements are funny anyway, all the internet hardmen disappear :p

Hopefully this event will work out well though :)

The i series is full of people who think themselves "pro" though, the ocuk pc gamers are a collection of drunks and scots with all the precision of a parkinson's victim :p

oh and midnight, who if he attends will mean several people will be burn alive when he sets fire to the building.

Hmm, I'll put myself down as a maybe. The only thing that deters me is lugging the box around and then the worrying if anyone minds the sound of a chinook in the background when it's on...

and Tefal, 'Drunk' and 'Scots' are synonymous, no?

Filled in the form. I'd be up for helping where I can (networking noob) and will need a lift if its anymore than 50 miles, unless its an over night thing.

Hey I registered and distance is no probs for me as I have my own Car and willing to give lifts. Could somebody overclock my processor if I come ?
