What brand of glasses do you wear?

Polo Ralph Lauren :)

Will sort pics in a bit if I can be bothered!

Had to get the most extreme lens thinning Vision Express do, joys of being -5.25 in both eyes. I'd have jam jars otherwise, now the lens doesn't even extrude from the frame. Win

Cost an absolute bomb though, £260 with about £80 discount :\, for the frame + lens'.

I wish mine were only -5.25 ...

Off the top of my head I'm around -6.0 in one eye and -6.75 in the other, plus various other things which means my description is officially described as "complex" (hence free eye-tests annually and a massive £13 contribution off the £400 bill for my new glasses ... and the online glasses websites don't even list a large enough range of figures for some of my settings).

I did used to swear by Police, but I have found the quality has been poor in recent years. Oakley glasses and sunglasses now. Probably won't consider anything else from now, great frames.

Wow, savage. My last prescription changed from around -4.5 to -5.25 :\. Apparently it could be due to the amount of time I used to wear contacts (all day every day basically). My eyes were also starting to grow new blood vessels to provide more oxygen to the eye :o.

Switched to glasses 24/7 now so hopefully should decrease the extra blood vessels and my prescription :p.

Much prefer glasses now anyway, contacts used to be a bit sticky in the morning and at night.

Orgreen. Very, very light but bloomin' expensive, just like every other designer label.

Thinking of getting some Oakley transitions, carrying around two pairs of glasses is a pain.

They're quite bold in real life, not as out there as the wayfarers but not subtle either :P

Surely you should go for the model that looks best on your face rather than get brand recommendations?

My last glasses were Police and my current ones are Ralph Lauren.

yes this ^^ .. Styles change etc, but its all about what looks good on your face. I don't see how people can order glasses off the internet. Nothing better than going into an opticians and trying on like 15 pairs untill you get a good one. Brand isnt everything either. I certainly wouldnt go into an opticians and buy glasses because it was a particular brand.
