Morning gents, pretty sure my clutch is on the way out and need to get it sorted quick sharp. Getting the clutch kit isn't a huge problem or expense but finding somewhere I trust to fit it is.
I've never felt i've had 'exceptional' service from any mechanic/garage and frankly it ****es me off the liberties they're probably taking on me, some numpty off the street with little car knowledge. The auto repair business has to be one of the most dishonest and slimy industries left.
ANYWAY, can anyone in Bristol recommend anywhere? What labour rates should i expect, I hear about people paying as little of £25ph for an indie, but most of the time it seems to be closer to £80-90. It would also help if they realise that the clutch change on my car doesn't take the 6 hours their PC will tell them it does, owners club members put it at 3-4 if that.
