Im not happy...

I recently sent a dead motherboard back to OCUK for RMA, it was refused (my own fault), and it got returned to me in the box I sent it in, bubble wrapped then inside a big bag. The thing was dead, it's not even left the anti-static protection since I got it back, yet it got the same packaging as my new motherboard that arrived a few days later. xD

I have only bought one component elsewhere in the last year or so that was in stock in OCUK, and that was only because I saved around £35. :P

I assume it was in a retail box? and works... so whats the issue... how many box's do you want it in?

if it was retail it was in a small plastic box, in a bigger (retail) box, and they then put it in another box..

its not like they posted a hdd in a jiffy bag...

I want it in 18 Russian dolls (I'll also accept Russian doll shaped boxes), all with bubblewrap, and plenty of it!

OcUK, make this happen for me.

OCuk package things VERY well indeed. i bet if i dropped my pc out my window it would be fine :D just a mix of them giant inflated bags / bubblewrap. tons of fun scaring people with those bags :D

My sister got some picnic hamper thing for christmas from one of these gift sites. The box its came in was padded with stupidly thick cardboard tubes (ie, the walls of the tube were about 1cm thick and the tube itself had a diameter of about 10cm). Nothing else, just about 50 of these oversized loo rolls surrounding the hamper...

i have ordered once an E6300 back in 2006 OEM and it arrived inside an almost jewelery packaging :D, hardened carton with foam inside and all this for just a cpu

Sack that. I want the boxed CPU bubblewrapped and boxed again, then that box suspended on elastic inside another box.

That'll keep it safe. :P

OCUKs packaging is very very good...so good its annoying sometimes to get the damm item out

I perfer loads of packaging than very little and its got a big hole through it

p.s I DO have a tendancy to keep the proctetive stuff :p

I bin all the external packaging, but keep all the boxes and fold the antistatic bags up and stuff, and they live in a cupboard in my desk.

Is that too much or just applying common sense? :p

I keep the anti static bags there useful incase you have to send anything to someone..

Still waiting for payday on friday to test the chip. it better unlock then i will be happy

Edit: Typo.. oops

Just out of interest infernox, could you pm me the name of the competitor, I'm intrigued. I'm hoping it's not the competitor I sometimes use, as they're usually very good.

If my products aren't packaged in water tight containers suspended in another box filled with viscous fluid, bubbled wrapped, with a big neon fragile sign on the front.... Then I'm not a happy bunny.

And there goes our posts. Fair enough, I've sent a friend request to you.

dont mention competitors then

it is the forum rules that you read and agreed to when you created your account.
