I ordered minuets ago while in a Gaming store in town. I already have a PS Eye so I just preordered two motion controllers, one Nav Controller and a fighting game called Pain I think. I'm hoping it'll be what Nintendo lead us to believe the Wii was going to be. I was so disappointed by the Wii. I had all these ideas how amazing Red Steal was going to be and look how it turned out. Kind of funny now I think about it.

Anyway anyone hear if there will be any mini demo game type software will come with it?

I would expect a few demos to appear on the PSN :) They did some small packages for the 3D software so I would be very surprised if there were no tasters for Move owners on release day.

You should try Red Steel 2 :p

As for move, i like that you should be able to get wii like controls on ps3 games, i think 3rd person shooters will benefit a lot from it (think re4 wii) but what will be the final total cost of move? note: i don’t have the eye toy.

Don't fall into the same magical believes with move like you had with the Wii.. you are only setting yourself up for disappointment.

Also, was there a special deal going on for pre-ordering? Don't see the point, its not going to sell out.

I'll pick it up once a few good games support it... maybe I'll finally play Resident Evil 5 with move controls.

pre-ordered 2xMove, 1xNav and a charge unit.
echochrome 2 is a game i want as soon as it comes out and i'm buying Toy Story 3 (my 1st multi-platform game on ps3) primarily for the Move side of the game.

there are other games i want on release, but will decide on a few after seeing/reading reviews.

also looking forward to using eyepet and Heavy Rain with Move.

I know the bundle comes with a demo disk so perhaps some will be demos on PSN or even on a PS mag. Not going to bother pre-ordering until much closer the time of launch, reckon i will get to wands and see how i get on using the DS3 to start with.

Was going to save RE5 for this, but when it came up on steam sales, I forgot about it and bought it :(

Guess will be buying again if worth it.

I pre-ordered 1 x Move controller a few weeks back for £32, I already have the eye and I'll use a pad for control to start off with and see if it really is awkward, if so then I'll get a Nav controller too. I'm looking forward to playing supported FPS games with it and I'm very intrigued by Echochrome II.
I've very slowly come round to the idea of Move, the Wii had really put me off the idea of the whole concept, but because Sony have clearly made an effort to give use for it to hardcore gamers, I'm willing to give it a go.
I'm not sure it'll really take off tbh, it does entirely depend on how well it's supported, but I think Sony have enough quirky indie devs under their wing to come up with some very innovative games for it. I'd absolutely love thatgamecompany to come up with something for it, I reckon the PixelJunk guys could do something cool with it too.
I'm calling it a speculative investment right now.

Was just about to say I think I'll wait to see the reviews and games that come out for it but I didn't realise Toy Story 3 will be Move compatible.

I was gonna grab Toy Story 3 when it came out for the missus so I might get Move as well to keep myself entertained!

Do you have to have an Eye Camera for Move? So you need 1x Eye Camera, 2x Motion Controllers, 2x Navigation Controllers(optional) for 2 player Move? £135?

you need the cam as Move will not work without it, but you can buy a cam/Move pack.

No you can get the move pack for £46 with controller, camera, and demo disk then all you need is 1 more wand for £32, the navigators are optional as the DS3 can be used if required. The navigators are £21 each if you cant/dont want to use the DS3, it seems though that many 2 player games will have a wand only option.

I can't really see this taking off tbh. I doubt many developers will bring out decent games for it as there just wont be the install base and it wont get the install base until it has decent games out!

I hope I'm wrong though, but this is just the way I see it going.

If Move works well with fps and 3rd person adventure games it'll be worth the price. Metroid on the Wii controls beautifully - more of that would be all good.

So if you have bought a game already that is being modded for the move do you have to buy it again or will it get updated via PSN and work as is or with the move controller?

They don't have to, as you can see people are buying it before anything good is even shown on it :D
