Once the initial high is over and you settle into the humdrum of everyday life - dont fall into the trap of taking each other for granted. Make time for each other. The plasma tv, PS3 etc aint goin anywhere. So go on those weekend breaks, vacations abroad or just spend time doin stuff together ya know..?

I didnt do these things and paid dearly for it - after 5yrs im alone now and single.

As lame as this sounds u gotta keep da fire goin....

Congrats and i will mimic the minority here, don't let the "ocuk we hate marriage brigade" put you off. Just because others fail at marriage doesn't mean you will

Are you going to get married with your eyes closed? Pretty sure you'll see her on "the day" as your girlfriend. Unless of course she stands you up and runs off with Dvdbunny as he could be a model !

Ermmm, while I agree with the "just enjoy it no matter what, it's all a memory" ideal I can also state that not all weddings have hitches.

Ours most certainly didn't and everyone, including the bride had a most amazing day :D
