Hmm, fractionally disappointed, 'even better deals' will probably only be a pound off here and there, maybe a tenner on some of the more expensive stuff.

Some of the prices he's been getting at Taheri's place have been very good!

Though I really don't like the way they do monitors.... yes paying extra to be guaranteed no dead-pixels is good, but the ones with dead pixels (that they've tested) just go in the normal stock pile (rather than being returned to the supplier/manufacturer).... so someone buying a monitor without the extra guaranteed no dead-pixels check will be far more likely to get dead pixels than someone buying one from somewhere where they don't do the check (here).

Christ its like a dead pixel lottery where you are guaranteed to win or is that loose

Thanks to QI, I know that cake goes hard with age and that biscuits go soggy, so there's a simple way to find out ...

... not that I'd ever let a pancake last long enough to find out, so I guess I'll never know.
