Corsair 600T ETA?

Watched the youtube vid of this and while it has nice features it just looks very plasticy and i hate that so looks like my money will be going corsairs way but 700d instead. Also cannot see this coming in sub £100 i definately think you can add thirty maybe forty quid on that which then negates all them features it offers because there are equally good cases for less time will tell.

O'well... pretty much decided to go for the Antec P183. The only 2 things I had originally dismissed this case for, were:

- No cut out on mobo tray to access retention plate for CPU coolers. Yes I know that a removable mobo tray would be ideal.. but not many (any?) midi tower cases have this. I now see that ther has been a revision to the P183 and this now has one.

- Had / have this illogical (logical?) fear of vertically mounted HD's. Based on the fact that the only 2 HD's that I've had fail in recent years, have been vertically mounted ones. From extensive reading on the good old Internet, this would now (has it really ever?) been a problem.

P183 has also come down a fair bit since it first came out and now looks a pretty good buy. Only down side is having to purchase two extra fans for the front. Probably Sharkoon Silent Eagles.

Just got to press that order button.....

motherboard cutouts are totally pointless unless you own a really easy to install cpu cooler good luck trying to remove or install a cooler with the board in the case.I'd rather install / remove a cpu cooler with the board out 100x easier.
It would be a nightmare trying to install say a TRUE or similar heatsink with the board in the case using the so called amazing cpu cutout

A motherboard tray is equally pointless if you ask me ? I own an eclipse which has one and i've never used the feature as again removing the motherboard is far easier and not as much hassle as made out

They will need to price this carefully as some of the cases around £140-£160 are far superior such as the £164 non windowed fortress ft02

yep... tend to agree with you I suppose. Re-fitted my Zalman 9500 "in the case" a while back and it was a nightmare!

Now proud owner of a Lian Li PC-B25FB. Quite impressed. Five fans and it's no louder (maybe even a bit quieter) than my old Chieftec case and that only had two fans in it!. Though if being picky, I could still find things that could be improved on my new case.

I just knew if I jumped and bought something else (Lian Li) along the Corsair would come. O'hum... quite happy with what I bought though. Mind you, my PC isn't working too great since porting everything over to the new case (cold boot problems). Life...

PS. Looks like "hopefully" my cold boot problem sorted. Something as simple as removing and re-fitting the graphics card would appear to have sorted it.

Coming in at £135 for a Midi case it's too rich for my blood, but I can certainly see someone wanting something well made to fit his long 5970 which isn't the size of a full tower. It does have GFX-card supports for those long cards, doesn't it?

As for poor shlubs like me, I think we'll keep looking at the R2 or CM690-II for 2/3rds the price.

Will this case also be in a windowed version, or will there be a optional window panel?

As I quite like seeing what Ive spent all my money on!
