Seems like the mx518 is always the popular choice but the Razer DeathAdder occasionally pops up for a few £ more

This is the newer version of the 518, if you have the money you may as well. Im very happy with mine anyway.

G500 had the mx518 but the mouse wheel broke all good tho since they replaced it with a G500

Just make sure you stick to Logitech there RMA Service cant be beat!

I had to get a budget gaming mouse and got the mx518 the mouse is alright but the cable is a bit thick and gets caught on edge of desk but apart from that the mouse is perfect for the price.

Sort of repeating myself from the other thread, but I didn't like the "punctured" look of MX518 so sold it on straight away and got myself a Razer Deathadder which I'm very happy with.

Don't get a Coolermaster Sentinel, I got mine last night, the thing just skips, not smooth curser movement on screen, have used three different surcfaces (Razer Gaming and Control) plus a Steel seris surface and it is still doing it....time to RMA I feel !!

I don't think OcUK sell it. But have a look at Sharkoon's Fireglider. I have one and love it

The MX518 is a great mouse for the price.

Some people dont like the 'punctured' look on top of the mouse but your hand covers that anyway
