I thought i might try a few bets on big brother. The companies all seem very similar, and all give you the "we'll match your deposit" offer. Any tips ?

I use Ladbrokes, they're not too bad. Remember to read the small print on any of those first deposit offers, a lot of them have really high minimum wager requirements before you can withdraw any winnings from matched deposit amounts.

sbobet - where the big boys punt :p (only because I cannot get a bet down with any UK/Euro based books)

If you are betting on BB then paddies & betfair should be your weapons of choice

I've used two. 888sport and Betclic. Only because they were offering free bets at the time i.e. bet, if you lose you get your money back.

Both were fine for me! :)

Sticking to just one bookmaker online is a dumb idea if you're attempting to profit from gambling.

There are a variety of traditional bookies, spread betting firms and exchanges out there - unless you've got a crystal ball, insider knowledge or a very good model then you're best hopes for making money will likely derive from simply getting good prices.

eBay's always a bit of a gamble
this wins

This is true - last time I shopped on there the seller claimed the item was 'fully boxed' but it didn't include a manual or CD... I got him back later though....

big difference between trying to generate a small income from backing/laying and having a few punts on Big Brother. I am guessing that we aren't going to be talking about high roller money here

SoundsGood: call centre, trading or content? Presume you are not shops as you are in Leeds.

Any tips from the big gamblers then?
concentrate on what you know and make it pay, it will take a lot of time and investment to get there
