He was a heavy steroid user iirc, coupled with the fact that his life went to **** and he lost everything, his home, gf, kids etc, and just raged big time.

I know quite a few people on all different sorts of steroids and they make you VERY angry at times and a very short fuse!
 
I think the Moat got so much support is because for 7 days he made the police look like a total bunch of **** and ran ring around them.

Also a friend of a friend of mine says he knew Raoul Moat personaly and he was actualy a very likable person. He just went over the edge and lost it.

By running rings around them you mean sitting in a drain pipe?

Why do people think that he was some kind of genius for just because he went to ground for a week? If anyone is prepared to hide like that it's going to take time to find them, but it was just a matter of time.

Steroids do nothing of the sort. I'm about as anti-steroid as anyone can get, but even I know they do nothing to invoke rage. It's as simple as this... the average roid taker is an ********. Simply because ********* are attracted to the idea of being huge. End result is a bigger ********.

You try going on the run with 1/4 of the nations armed police & helicopters chasing you and see how long you last.

As for not checking the drains just shows how incompetant the police were. Hasn't anybody in the police ever seen First Blood before.

No if someone goes bat **** crazy and shoots people... He's generally condemned as bad. It could have been prevented perhaps but it has been done now.
