Audio & Input problem

Hi,
A couple of days ago I started my computer up from standby and all my usb devices where dead and refused to respond, after restarting the computer they where fine. And now today, again I started the computer up from standby and the audio was totally dead, again a restart resolved the problem.

Could something be on the way out?

Strange issue. Have you looked for a BIOS update?

USB Inputs died again today, same thing happened when the system resumed from standby.

I've had computer that have had similar issues but have went away after a while. I guess the best way to go around it at the minute is to just turn the computer off completely and boot it from shut down.

Yes I have been doing that. It is worrying though.
