I've been on Apple's website many times speccing up a Mac, as I've been close to moving away from windows and pc's many times.

After seeing how they handled the iphone 4 shenanigans - that thought is dead forever.

Will be sticking with windows forever. I used to think MS were arrogant (and they are still), but they look like Amnesty International when I compare them to Apple (who seem somewhat like the 3rd Reich).

Might just be me but personally I think avoiding an entire brand over one issue (and with an unrelated product in the range) is very odd. Sure they havn't done themselves any favours with how they handled it but still...

I'm sure you're not the only one though!

So because of the iPhone 4's issues you are willing to turn down an opportunity to buy a great machine with great software over a matter of personal pride and principal?

Great software?? I've currently got a blackberry and when replying to or forwarding an email I can attach any kind of file I want. Can't do that with an iphone can i. Also, my blackberry can open so many more file formats than the poxy iphone.

maybe you are a personal user and don't need business capabilities. if you need a phone for business the iphone is a joke.

Are you the dude that started the ranting thread rather than post it in the big iPhone problems thread?

You're really trying hard for attention aren't you? :D

I am really sick of guys like you. I think the iphone 4 is one very bad bit of tech' and since I am allowed to express my feelings, that's what I'm doing.

Do you want me to not say anything bad about apple products sir?

Would that be a bad thing?

If I was saying that windows vista was not the OS it was cracked up to be, would you say I was looking for attention?

Pray tell ...............

Just noticed you have 13,159 posts on this forum. Do you have a life my good man???

You're welcome to say what you want. You just bought a phone without doing any research on it, slagged it off because of it, and to top it off, started a thread when there was already a thread for it?

And now we have a prime candidate for jesus.jpg in this thread as well?

I just contribute in a range of threads in a range of forums rather than posting crap like you do.

Erm...what has the iPhone v Blackberry software got to do with you buying a Mac desktop?

The comment was about software on the Mac being good, not the iPhone. And your thread is about buyibg a Mac or a PC.

@OP: Youve got to ask yourself why you even posted in the first place - what comments were you expecting? You are either pretty dumb or just thick-skinned - thinking about your previous posts Ill let you work that out (take your time)...

Either way its not going to matter to me, OcUK as a whole, the Apple sub-forum or Steve Jobs bank balance what you have decided to do. If thats the right decision for you (hopefully youve done some useful research this time), kudos, just dont feel compelled to share as there really is no need unless theres a discussion to be started...

Could you please just stop starting threads for the sake of it - it really reflects poorly on you...

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face

ps3ud0

a) It's really fairly well-recognised that the BB is a better business phone than the iPhone. If you bought an iPhone for business before complaining that it's inferior to the BB, the joke is really on you!

b) That has nothing to do with the merits of Mac OS X.

Apple (who seem somewhat like the 3rd Reich).

Stop and think about what you're arguing for two seconds. You're comparing a totalitarian regime which killed millions of people to a technology company which wants you to buy a phone with a flaw. Nobody is forcing you to buy an iPhone, are they, now?

The iPhone has never really been pitched hard at the business market.

If you need a car for towing horseboxes a Caterham 7 is also a 'complete joke'.

You bought the wrong product and now you refuse to buy a totally different product. Nice one.

But then you're probably right because you might think that a Mac doesn't have the correct BUSINESS CAPABILITIES FOR IMPORTANT PEOPLE. That would be terrible.

Rather rich coming from the guy who's spent the past few days trying to get some attention on a forum because he didn't like a phone.

If you didn't get along with it, return it and be done with it... Then get your replacement phone and get along with your life!

Wow I just stumbled across this thread and I wasn't going to bother answering but my lord Buachille needs putting in his place.

Firstly, most of the people on this forum are perfectly nice people who are mature and sensible. You, with insults such as the one against Tute, appear to be neither mature nor nice. Secondly, you don't appear to be too bright either, having misconstrued at least two people's posts in this thread (impressive considering there are only 19 replies and some of those are yours!). Finally, as other people have said, there really was no need to create a separate thread intended solely as a complaint against the iPhone 4 when there is already a very large main thread on the phone.

Stupid troll...

I was going to write a reply about how I used to work for the company, and how things really occur on the Genius Bar, and what lengths we would go to in order to ensure the customer left happy, or why I like the OS, and why this has been blown out of proportion, but there's not much point. In my eyes, you fall into one of two categories:

1) A guy seeking attention, and given your previous threads, I'm inclined to go with this option

2) The sort of guy that would walk up to the GB and state, "I've had the worst week ever. I was using my iPod Touch and now it's only playing music out of one channel. This is the worst piece of consumer technology I have ever used! I'm furious. It's an outrage. Useless company and useless products!" and so on, despite the fact that 9 times out of 10, there'd be a piece of crap stuck in the headphone jack.

If you like the products, you buy them. If you don't, spend your money elsewhere. Making countless threads about how you hate Apple, in an Apple forum, is only going to evoke one type of reaction.
